Fiji - the most amazing trip ever

Hey guys,

this post will not be about New Zealand - it'll be about Fiji, because i spent one week of my holidays with my friends on Fiji. We went there with the organisation SouthernCross.
The first 3 days we were on Treasure Island - Paradis!!!

The other days we were on the main land. There it wasn't very luxurious, but it was alright!

On Treasure we were snorkelling and eat the whole day - it was great :)

The people there were so nice and friendly, everybody talked to you and asked you if you need help. We became friends with a few of them like Carlos. :)

One day we went "Island Hopping", that means we were on a boat and drove to different places.

First of all to a upper class family hotel,

(we toke the picture there)

after that to "Cloud 9" a swimming bar in the middle of nothing

and then we went snorkelling

Thank you grandma and grandpa - Danke Oma & Opa!!

Hey.

Today i will write in english and german, because it's for my grandma and grandpa and i hope they'll read it.
I got a parcel today ... a huge one! I couldn't believe it. I opened it and was nearly crying not only because there are plenty of german sweets in it, i was just so surprised, i didn't expected that!! I have no words for it...
Well, thank you, thank you, thank you! That's so nice.

I hope you can imagine the amazing size of it:

So all in all a good (sometimes a bit boring) time, we had 2 international weeks like you may noticed.
Now it is time to say goodbye to some of them. I will tell you more about my last days with them and how the goodbye was during the next few weeks.

I tryed to add as many pictures as i can, hope the quality isn't so bad.

Another thing if done was that i went to a 17th birthday party up in the Motueka Valley. It was the birthday of the guy in the picture with the birthday hat.

We baked a pink princess cake for him.

*picture will follow*

This party was kind of special for us germans because it was outside with many people (normally you are sitting in with a small group of your best friends on the table and you eat all together cake and stuff like that..), but it was much more fun. We drove the whole time with the truck/jeep thingy and some aswell with motorcycles. Later we had a BBQ with Schnitzel (here you pronounce it like snitzel) and potato salad, we felt like home :D but it tasted different! Afterwards we had ice cream, i just say Hokey Pokey :)) It was a great night!!

And just for fun: I baked a kind of traditional strawberry cake today, because in the supermarket here you can buy so much german stuff like Christstollen oder cake ground - Kuchenboden etc.

looks better in real!!

P.s. I love my dog here :)

reminder: I will fly in one week to Fiji with some of my favs <3 it'll be so awesome and i'm very excited!!

& other stuff

Well, it happend quite a lot during the last weeks.

One point wasm that our school was locked down last week on tuesday, because there was a men with a gun in the city. I wasn't there during that 'cause we were rock climbing the whole day as a day trip and i'm happy that i wasn't there.
After our climbing we came back to the vans and looked on our phones and saw plenty of messages. For example:
"We are sitting since more than one hour under our tables."
Everybody was a bit afraid to drive back to town, but we did it. After 2 1/2 hours they removed the lock down, so we could drive back the school without problems. It was weird, because for us everything was like we saw it last, but the people who've been in the school were really afraid and kind of a shock afterwards.
But - no worries please - nobody got shot or injured!

Two days later, one day too early, we had a international Halloween party. We all dressed up and drove to Nelson. The party was quite good, only a bit lame. There were only asian people and they don't know how to party :P JK
At the end we danced on the stage and it was aaawesome! :) I love to party with my germans <3
i was a hippie btw

The next day, real Halloween, a girl from our school had a party, but it escalated... i only say drunk teens, crashed wall, fights, cops...
Anyway, the first hour was good :D

On Tuesday we had the last outdoor ed lesson for this year and we went to Kaiteriteri and had a pick-nick, it was so nice and the outdoor ed class is in general the best ever!

Next topic: on wednesday we had prize giving - it's an event were the best students get prizes for their work and the year 13 students have the chance to win scholarships. There was also a guest speaker and the choir sang and the concert band played. I was in both. With the choir we sang "Talents we posses" and "seal lullaby" and i played the cowbell, the tambourine and in the concert band. That was soo funny, because i played it together with Maria and we laughed nearly the whole time, because we had to stand up (as the only ones) and we had the feeling that everybody is watching us haha, it was kind of embarassing, but alright!

Now, we are coming to today!
I was paintballing today in Nelson and it was great! The teams were mixed with internationals and kiwis, that means with people who played it before and with the girls who never played it. (I was lucky, i was in a team together with the best boys - one guy has his own paintball field behind his house, that's crazy - you can imagine how good he is in shooting!)
There were different games (4)
1: you should steal the flag of the other team and need to bring it back to the base
2: the flag was in the middle and you need to get it and bring it to the base of the other team
3: too complicated! something with president..
4: everybody against everybody - worst thing every, at the end we were in a house (the girls played together) and everywhere around us were guys who tryed to shoot us!!
I got shot on my leg, on my throat (that was so fucki** painful!) and on my mask (couldn't see afterwards)

All in all it was amazing and I'm so thankful that i can do all that stuff thank's mum and dad and grannies :)
pictures will follow...takes so long to upload :(

What happend in the last days/weeks?

Hey guys,
i was very busy and couldn't write a post before now - sorry for that.

First: I was on the Ngatimoti Festival on sunday together with my host parents and Maria and later with Timon and Selina as well.
That was a festival of one primary school. You could buy very much food, wool of the sheeps and a lot of other stuff.
It was great fun and a good place to spend the lunch(, because you could eat so much :D)
And the best thing was a german bakery!!! We ate Brezeln, Pfannkuchen (or Berliner, however you call them) and Sauerteigbrot. That was so delicious!
Now some pictures of Maria - helped me a lot 'cause i didn't need to wait so long until my pictures are uploaded <3 Thank you, sweetie!
