Hello guys,

The picked me up and i had to close my eyes and then they led me thru the very high tide on the sandspit of Motueka :)
Then we had a soo yummi picknick at the beach and... i went swimming - the first time since i'm here (and i know why, it was freaking cold).

#2 skydiven - done

Hi folks,

yesterday i jumped out of an airplane in 2,7 km height. After that i had around 20 sekunds free fall but let me start from the beginning:
The school asked us, the internationals, if we want to go skydiven with the physics class of our school. Everybody was very excited and many pupils done it. We were 46 that means 8 airplanes needed to go up to different heights. You could choose between 9.000, 13.500 and 16.000 feet.
I jumped out of 9.000 feet and that was enough for me. The others who jumped higher needed extra oxygen, because there wasn't enough - that would be soo scary.
The weather yesterday was perfect - sun and blue sky.
Anyway, we first got this nice white and red overalls and kind of a climbing harness. Then we met our jumper, that means the man we jumped with. He gave us a safety instruction and described what we have to do. Then we already started with the airplane. We flu around 10 minutes over Motueka, saw Marahau, Kaiteriteri and Nelson. That was already great and then.... the door opened and only two seconds after that i saw the first one "falling" out. That looked so dangerous and scary, but i had not much time to think about that, because then i sat out of the airplane and the man behind me jumped. I tryed to scream, but you couldn't hear yourself, you just heard the wind. Circa 20 seconds free fall - the best feeling i every had - before the parachute opened and then it was completly quiet. It was so strange to hear nothing and the view was awesome!!!
It was the best thing i've every did :) i would do it everytime again. I'll never forget the feeling and the breathtaking view.
And i'm very proud of myself that i've done it! :D
